I signed up here some time ago and regret to say it was a mistake. I am a member of several shooting sports boards and thought that since I began with shooting muzzle loaders, I may enjoy a muzzle loading board. I do not wish to PAY to belong to any board. I cannot stop the emails, at least I can't find where to do that. I think having premium content is exclusionary.

I did read some of the posts in one forum with a lot of bellyaching about other members and find that off putting.

There is a section for regional members that is way off geographically and that is annoying. Someone needs to check and see if Lake Ontario is still a Great Lake.

All in all, y'all point me to where I can turn this place off and I will bide you a good day.

Welcome . . . and farewell.

One post in a year?

At the bottom of the e-mails is the option to click and unsubscribe.

Spent a great deal of time on Lake Ontario myself and last I checked the US Shoreline of that lake is entirely in New York State. That would be the region - Northeast - for you. Or, if you are on the Canadian side . . . Canada "region".

Sorry you are dissatisfied.

Now we have "bellyaching" in the Welcome to the Camp forum as well.

There's a link at the bottom of each email to opt out of notifications. Thing is, you can't just click the link; there's a button on the page you're taken to that you need to click.

After that, if you really don't want to come back, simply don't sign in again.

I feel sorry for anyone wanting to become a member and for some reason don't feel they can belong to our forum. Did anyone tell him that he doesn't have to pay to be a member? And then there's the sub-forum of "why are we losing members".
