On Friday August 17th 2018, at the age of 79, at Tottenham Ontario Canada. John was a superb craftsman and world renowned builder of flintlock rifles. He also manufactured wooden propellers for model airplanes, vintage aircraft and hot air balloons. He also produced quarter scale kits for WWII Spitfire and Hurricane fighters. His articles on building muzzle loaders were oft times published in Muzzle Blast magazine.
I have only ever met John once in person to purchase one of his Lancaster rifle kits but had many a conversation with him over the phone and through e mail. May he rest in peace....................Daniel (Chawbeef)
