Well, now that I know about it I'll go if i can get the time off work. And I'm pretty sure I can. Thanks for posting it NW T. Woodsman.
I went last year, it was in slippery rock, but some of the old timers told me the attendance has dropped over the years,(sounds like alot of vous' attendance has been dropping)It was still quite large tho. I didn't participate because i don't have a tent, but overall, if you can make it you should go.

The first few I went to were huge. with about 4,000 people. Been dropping, but I don't know how much. Folks who stopped going to weekend rondys still wait all year to go to the Eastern. Recently it has just been too far away. When it was at Muddy Run Park near Lancaster Pa, I could still run home and do farm chores once a day.

Its around 80 miles away from me, NE Ohio near the pa line

I'd like to, but not sure I want to drive that far for 1 or 2 days. It's right in the 1st 2 weeks of our archery deer season. We don't have legal hunting on Sunday so might consider driving out Saturday night the 21st, checking it our all day Sunday the 22nd, and driving home that night or sometime Monday, if folks think it's worth the trouble.

I would like to go to one of these events, however i just looked up where Sugar Grove is, and its on the complete opposite end of the state from me. Much too far to drive to stay the day then head home,. I wish I would have known about it when they were at Muddy Run park. That's only a half hour drive from me, and I go pheasant hunting in that area every year.
