Using Swiss Null B in the pan, this shooter was able to fire his flintlock upside down over and over again with hardly any problem.

That's impressive. I've never tried it but I have to wonder if my FL would be as reliable upside down

Yeah Mark is quite the character always has unique videos.
Not surprising. I've seen several bench rifles made with flintlocks mounted upside down. I believe any good flintlock will fire upside down with normal priming.

I can do it with 3f as prime, no big deal.

I have been shooting upside down off the top of my head for years. It is a really great way to psyche out opponents on a woods walks. I did learn not to use my Bess. I couldn't hold it in place when it went off and the hammer scraped a shallow groove in my scalp

It sounds like for some guys, shooting a flintlock doesn't become difficult unless they're shooting backwards using a mirror for sighting in.
While for many others, they have a hard enough time to make their ignition work reliably.

Any good flint lock should fire upside down quite reliably.
The topic brings up an interesting question, though, what happens to the trajectory of the bullet if the gun is fired upside down? You can learn a lot of important stuff about how bullets fly and how sights work by figuring that out. Good topic for another thread.
