Nice Little 1862 Pocket Police .36 cal with 6.5" barrel. Has had front sight replaced with taller sight to get POA and POI to match. Needs a bit of bluing touch up around muzzle. I just installed a new hand and hand spring in it. $200 shipped. You don't see a lot of the small pocket models for sale.

I have one and am interested in the procedure for installing a taller sight. The brass front sight seems rather soft. Does it pull out, unscrew, or did you need to drill it out? What did you use for a taller replacement?

It isn't mine, it belongs to a friend. The front sight is silver soldered on and he used a piece of brass
