I have been a muzzleloader hunter and enthusiast for nearly 50 years.
Every time I read thru some of the posts I find something new and interesting.
Looking forward to being part of this forum.
You’ve had to have learned a lot in those 50 years. A lot of us could probably learn from you. Feel free to jump in anytime and welcome.

Same question here: I live in Knoxville and just joined. Would like to find other charcoal burning enthusiasts in Knox County.

Thank you Pilgrim. I was heavy into muzzle loading about 35 years ago, but then went over to the "dark side" (cartridge rifles, etc.). Finally realized that muzzle loaders combined shooting, art appreciation, and history: the best of all worlds.

Much obliged friend!
All we got in Knox County was rain. Did y'all get in flurries up in Sevier County?

Oh yes! For example: I learned (the hard way) early on that PGIF (powder goes in first). I've also found it helpful to not close my eyes when I fire--it has improved my aim considerably!!
