A good group only counts if it is centered around the center of the X

Very true, a good group in and of itself will not win. however, to be consistently in the x's one must first develop a good group by load and practice. Then one adjusts the sights to make that group hit the x. THIS will win every time. (unless the guy next to you has a tighter group also hitting the x...)

Basically, I am saying you are right but you are only telling half the story.

Chapter 3,

A 5 inch group centered around the X will beat a 1 inch group that is 5 inches away from the X....Every time.

You are kidding right? did I not acknowledge that the weapon MUST be sighted in so that said tight group is in the X?!
I'll paraphrase my statement again: One must first develop the load so that the group is tight. Then one must adjust the sights to center that group on the x

Not being trolled any more. done after this...

No, that group stinks! Either your marksmanship needs work or the gun is a piece of garbage.

Look, Offhand at 10 yards you should have at least one if not 2 complete misses, like I mean TOTALLY missing the entire paper, and the other 3 just clipping the edges of the outer ring.

Then you'll know you're on to something special

In gripping a pistol, low hand position will cause a group to be "high", consider gripping the pistol lower to see if that will raise your group. Try facing more to the right and see if that will shift the group to the right.

Move back to 25 yards and that will give a better indication of your group, 10 yards you can almost throw the ball.

When shooting groups I save time and money by shooting one shot groups..And my pistols shoot amazingly tight groups!

A guy was at the range and could not get his new rifle to group at all. After he started announcing what a POS the gun was, an old timer came over and asked for the man's handkerchief. The shooter asked why, and the old timer said it is an easy test to see where the problem is. So the shooter turns over his hankerchief and the old timer draws an "x" in the middle and tells the shooter to get in shooting position, load up. aim and say ready. When the shooter said ready, the old timer told him to close his eyes, The shooter complied, and the old timer said now squeeze the trigger. The gun went boom and the old timer told the shooter to open his eyes. There in the middle of the handkerchief was a hole right on the x being held over the muzzle of the gun. The old timer said every thing at the muzzle looks accurate, the problem must be down range at the target.
