1. After load work up. Fire shot at target. "X"
2. Aim at "X" again. Clamp rifle in that position
with sights locked on "X"
3. Adjust sights to first bullet hole.
4. Un-clamp rifle from bench.
5. Fire 2 more shots.

If your final 2 shots tickle the first one, you are sighted in. No math except counting the shots.
