Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Beautiful work. However, they do say that they are decorative only and neither of the casting processes that they show includes a steel sleeve in the bore.
My information is a few years old when I helped with the casting. The "barrel" is a steel barrel built and proofed if desired. There is then a bronze shell cast, the steel barrel is inserted and the void filled with aluminum.
