Hi all!

I must have made the cut for membership!! Learned about this site from a member that is also a member of a different forum on casting boolits, which I just started doing myself.

I'm (relatively) young at 33y, but have been hunting and shooting muzzleloaders since I was 12. My dad bought a Cabela's "Sporterized" rifle in 54cal for my birthday that year and I harvested my first deer with it that Fall. I recently started shooting that rifle again because my brother in-law will be using ir for elk hunting in September. My primary shooter/hunter is another Cabela's rifle in 54cal but of a more traditional look and feel. I've had that pretty girl for about 15y now. Lastly, I bought a Lyman Plains Pistol (also 54cal) a few years ago just for kicks.

As mentioned, I just very recently started casting round balls and Lee REALs (380gr) so will likely have some questions for the board on that topic. Out of habit, I've been using T7 powder for a long as I can remember and with good success, but am about 1.5 pounds away from switching to true BP, probably Graf's because the price/shipping is right.

That's probably enough for an intro post... Glad to be here and look forward to "meeting" you all!
