I am trying to see if I can post photos now that my old provider won't let me.

Yup, it works.

This is my (built from a plank) Derringer rifle and my TVM (pre-Avance ownership) American fowler. I rather like my finger woven strap.

The top gun is the Derringer. I would have thought that the patch box and the double set triggers would have given it away. But the clarification is necessary.

The Derringer is a 50 caliber rifle, 42" barrel and an L&R Late English lock.

The fowler is a 20 gauge with a 42" barrel and a Siler lock.

No explanation needed, nice guns, glad you could post. I wonder how many of those Derringer rifles made it out west with the mountain men. Pretty popular rifle I would imagine.
I'm sure Clyde was just trying to help out those who don't know the difference yet.

Henry Deringer made a large number of trade rifles in both flint and percussion versions. There was a Deringer rifle on display at the Alamo. One is on display at the museum in Cody, WY.

My rifle is a Derringer with 2 rs (okay, thete's 3 rs in Derringer) because it is a replica built in the style of the original and it's a 50 cal, not a 54.

It was of course, Photobucket that wanted way too much money to allow for third party posting.

The process is a bit more complicated, but I am using Flickr since I already had the account.
