Any one else shoot a Crockett pistol? Love mine great small pistol for rondys I shoot 15 grains of FFFg a .015 pillow ticking patch and a cast .311 ball from a Lee mold sweet little shooter! Low recoil and I think it would be a good gun for some one starting out

I toyed with the idea of getting a Crockett pistol and then switching out the lock for one with a fly and adding a single set trigger to make a target pistol. The rifling is already good for a target gun. I would also move the rear sight to the back of the barrel above the breech (more sight radius.)

I have two Crocket pistols. They are both accurate. I have different sights on them. I use a .311 ball, 11gr of 3f triple 7, or Swiss if I want to clean more. I have a Lepage and a William Parker, both in .45 and the Crocket is very competitive with them. Very consistent.

I've wondered about that pistol more than once and juggled the idea of maybe getting one. I had the rifle and loved it but never the pistol. Can't tell by looking at the pictures of it so how large are they and how weighty?

I have read several post that muzzle stuffers are switching their triggers to single for target competition. Can you explain the advantage. Thanks 1SGT!

I've heard of these pistols but have never even seen one. Love the rifle and a matching pistol would be fun to have. Traditions doesn't list it in their online catalog. Are they still made?

That is a shame. It seems difficult to even get a .32 barrel right now. Green Mountain used to sell them, but they aren't on the list now (seem to have been replaced by barrels for black rifles). It would be fun to build one, when I get back to a country that will let me do that.

I don't think Crockett had one like this Traditions, but I could be wrong

I don't care if Davey had one or not or if it is even representative of any actual gun in the way back when. That is a spiffy pistol.
I wish they still made them. I could make use of a small caliber pistol like that. I got a berry thieving pack of squirrels around here and I hate to blast them with the big guns.
