Yep, now you have to get the right accessories for it. Part of the fun! I was at a show when I bought mine. As I was carrying it out the door, a bag maker said, "well now you need a new bag." He was right! What the rifle maker knocked off the price I spent on bag, horn, and ended up going full on Virginia militiaman...So it goes!
 
You can send it to Lodgewood to have it defarbed for a reasonable fee. They'll refinish and reshape the wood and metal as needed, add original style hardware, remove Italian markings, and add the correct armory stamps.

Not needed, but they can transform it into something much closer to the genuine article for about $200.
