There has already been some discussion of our forum woods walk in another thread, so I decided it was time to kick off the official discussion here!

At the spring shoot, we agreed that Sunday, Sept 13 was a good target date with a later in the day start time.

So, how does 2:00pm on Sept 13 sound?

I will be using my new .64 Flintlock Smoothbore that my honey got me for my 50th Birthday. Been shooting it quite a bit so I am hoping to finally mount that plate on my fireplace mantle!

Thanks Barry. I'll be there, at least to "meet and greet"...Heck, If I get my new Davis Rifle (see Photo section for a couple of pics, etc.) dialed in by then, I might shoot too.

Thanks Barry...but keep in mind, I have yet to regulate those sights AND..most important...I have been getting those good groups off a good REST. When I stand up on my hind legs...I'm doin' good to hit the paper. :surrender: I'm workin' on that...but it's gonna take time. :shake:
Regardless though, I'll be at the Primitive Range and hope for the best. :hatsoff:

Same here :td: I hope you Guys have a good turn out and good weather Good Luck & Good Shooting :hatsoff:

Barry,
My shooting buddy here in Florida just told me he's going to make Friendship this year and will be making the woodswalk with us. Add one more.
In addition...I'm getting some decent results at 25 yds. offhand (so far) with my new Davis rifle. If the targets are CLOSE..I'm gonna hurt'em. Still workin' on the 50 yd. shots however, but it's starting to look better. :hmm: Haven't had time to even THINK about 100 yet. :surrender:

I am planing on being there again this year. Had a lot of fun meeting everyone last year. See you all Sunday the 13th at 2:00.
Leon

This will be a short Friendship for me, only Saturday and Sunday. Will bring my friend's grandson to shoot with us again. Need to have him home Sunday night because of school...
