Well, Cabela's would have to be at least a coupla hours away for the shipping and HazMat fees to be worth it...

Maybe there's someplace else LESS than 100 miles away for members to go buy caps?

Cabelas is a 6 hour round trip.

I can buy caps at the state shoot for $45/thousand.

Certainly doesn't prove anything, but I was at my local Gander Mountain yesterday and the muzzleloading supply rack was loaded (pardon the pun) with Remington caps, both No.10s and 11s.

I have purchased caps from various places over the past 5 years and yet to pay hazmat fees. All came through the post office

Two years ago I got them from DGW without a Haz-mat
charge also. But now I think they charge $28.50 and
limit of 500 Rem caps.

Just ordered 2000 No. 10 Remington caps from Cabela's. $79.99/1000, $16.95 S & H (to California) and $20 Hazardous Material Fee. They only listed #10s, no listing for #11. They should last me a while.
