This is my new 1759 british officers fusil made by john bosh. for those of you who might not of heard of him he is a very fine military arms builder, french and british. he uses all the correct stamps. this musket looks just like the originals i've seen in books of george neuman and g. moller. the gun speaks for itself. i am very happy with it. it was worth the wait!

That looks cool!!!!!!! I'm very impressed with the stampings, how does he get the stamps made?

How long is the barrel and what caliber is it? It looks like a british light dragoon carbine.

its a cross between a british light dragoon and an artillery carbine.

36 inch long barrel, with a 65 cal.

he has no website, i found him by word of mouth.

Ah, that's where the swivel on the trigger guard came from. Tha was really throwing me. Who made the barrel? Are you planning to shoot live rounds thru it?
I've built a couple guns with the "slider bar" on them. Only way to go for mounted troops. :redthumb: Looks like you have a great new gun!

A number of John's guns appear on Track's site. He seems to specialize in period muskets and trade guns using TRS parts and others he gets or makes. Very fine work...coing to have to sell the pooch into slavery!
