I've been shooting muzzler loaders for 40 years with a hiatus of about twenty years up until a couple of years ago when my grandsons got old enough to start shooting. Until then, I had rarely shot for about 20 years.

Years ago I was active in several local BP clubs and did attend shoots and a few local rendezvous. I've lurked here for a while and decided I needed to get my feet wet again. So, I'm a newcomer and an old-timer all at once.

Welcome back :hatsoff: An old friend of mine from Kansas sings an old song "Way Out West In Kansas".

Welcome back to the sport. :hatsoff:
Lots of good clubs to shoot with here in Kansas.

Welcome to the forum. I joined recently after lurking myself. This place is great.

My daughters and grandkids love shooting the BP. I bought a CVA Bobcat years ago and that is the gun that they get to shoot. They really like the idea of loading and shooting the "old" gun as well as my .22 and handguns. They know why I stand right next to them to take immediate possession of the gun if something goes wrong.

Welcome from the Great Pacific NW Kansas Jake, enjoy the forum. There's a wealth of knowledge to be shared here.
