"Saw this guy a couple of times limping, been calling him "Gimpy". Finally came out and gave me a clear shot at 4:40 tonight. Only dressed 130 lb, we found his left leg was broken and not much meat on his shoulder, from lack of use. Anyhow, two buck tags filled, one left."

guess when yer on a roll..an needin to feel alive, goin huntin is a great cure!!! Grats Swampy!!!

A bad boy on a bad boy!
Keep the mojo flowing!
Nice buck!

That's a pretty rack. The only thing that stands out more than that beautiful rifle is that hat! Nice work.

Nice deer Swampy. If you don't mind my asking; what is the barrel length of that rifle and what caliber is it? Looks like a pretty sweet little rig you have there.

its a roy stroh build likened to a rhode island builder,,matthew welcomeson(?) rifle...New England style rifle using a 42" Rice "C" weight swamped .58 cal that was
cut back from the muzzle 8" making the barrel 34" and more of a tapered look.
Customer requested this rather than ordering a custom tapered barrel made.
R.E.Davis "Twigg" lock set into a high grade hard piece of Cherry. Goehring
butt plate. Tapered entry pipe, ramrod pipes, trigger and toe plate were hand
made by me. Patchbox and trigger guard were both heavily modified. Coin
silver thumb piece and silver wire work with period checkering..
