Just got a CVA Brass Cylinder Flask (stamped Italy) from a Friend. Need to get some Spouts for it. Does this Flask take the standard 10-1 Thread Spouts, such as offered by Track & others??

Tnx -
Eric

All of my Italian made powder flasks take the same size thread. It seems the Italians have standardized on the size but I don't know if it is a M10 x 1mm.

Check the Dixie sight. They list the threads on the spouts for the Italian flasks. :idunno:

Remember, though, that you shouldn't load a rifle directly from the flask. The stop valve is not the best seal to prevent a flash from a hot ember in the barrel from blowing up the powder flask. While an incident of a flash is highly unlikely, its still not a good idea to load directly from a measure attached to a flask.

I have used a small measure as a spout to fill an adjustable measure while loading.
