This is a great surprize to find it here today. I think this forum will do very well and I am glad Admin came through with it.

I right now only own one bp pistol but plan on building on that. I know I need a cap and ball gun and I also want to get a flinter too. Yes it would be my first flinter but I think it would be great to start trying flintlock with a pistol. I am a lefty and getting that flash pan as far away from my face as possible has it's advantages.

Yes, I second the thumbs up on the new site. Note to admin, might be worth it for ease of use, to go back and pull some of those excellent posts from "Mec" on revolvers posted on the p-cap site and stick them here.

Cool - that did it. Now, can you add music when I enter the pistol site? The theme from High Plains Drifter would be fine. Just kidding - thanks for the effort.

Pittsburg, I'm a south paw myself, the means at least two of us here are in our right minds. HeHe! I have a Dixie Tennessee Mountain .50 Cap in left hand and its convertable to the Flint Lock also. Im not positive but I think Dixie and/or Lyman may make a pistol in left. Will check in Catologue. I have right hand locks too I just don't enjoy a rt hand fintlock shootin left handed. :hatsoff:
