    Awesome work, the craftsmanship is incredible , but unfortunately the mechanics of the gun being a traditions really hurts things. I think you should be able to get 600-700 for it. I would highly recommend buying a few kiblers and doing the same work. With a stock like that and the good...

    She's done

    Before After Stripped the old poly and stain off, replaced it with a new darker stain ( it looked a lot nicer in person, with a dark cherry color). I polished the brass and now she shines. I think my franken-gun is complete, and I'm more than happy with it

    How does this look

    Decided to refinish the stock of my flintlock. First time trying to do this. Stripped the old poly and stain, restained and am trying to decide between linseed oil and polyurethane. Here is what I got so far. Looking for feedback on what you guys think I should do and how I am doing.

    I only have one But I'm young and Im getting more and more addicted to bp every time I pull the trigger. I have a few unmentionables but I hopefully in the future I'll be able to grow my collection of flintlocks ( only thing I'm interested in)

    You said it. I love hitting gun shows, never know what you're gonna find. I never go to them looking to buy but I bring cash Incase I see something that is a good price or I can haggle down.
