    Hi all, the pictures that you posted could also be hail-guns, used untill the last centuary to "seed" thunder clouds with iodine to protect crops from hailstones. I have seen one used near Rosenheim (Bavaria) only a few years ago, hell what a bang, and what do you know,- no hail on that night...
