    The guy that I picked it up from said that it was an early one. It's not a kit built. Serial number is 83190 I don't know if that does any good in pinning down an age.

    Picked up a 45 caliber percussion with a hawken style stock. The barrel says Thompson Center 45 caliber on it. It's not marked hawken, renegade, Seneca, Cherokee or anything like that . It just says Thompson Center. It has set triggers. It also has adjustable sights.

    Regulating Enfield sights

    It does have the rear sight that is adjustable for elevation but I am using it with the blade folded down. I know that I can raise the rear sight. I may even just put shims under it with the blade folded down to zero it at 50 yds. My main concern is the lack of windage adjustment.

    Good load for euroarms Enfield 2 band artillery

    After getting the bore clean and changing out the nipple for one that for one that wasn't enlarged, I got to shoot my rifle today. I used the 577611 projectile and 50 gr. FFF. Accuracy was decent at 50 yards. My eyesight limits my ability. I'm looking for your best load for this for this model...

    .45 depending on which rifle I use either a .440 round ball with a .015 patch or a .445 with a .010 patch
