    Fitting a smaller width barrels

Finally got 5 minutes to take some pics. This is a basic .50 CVA MTN Pistol kit i picked up from a fellow forum member last week. It is as he got it. Its a very roughly assembled CVA kit and appears unfired. I like the grip on these and the barrel is a .40 Douglas from long ago. I...

    Fitting a smaller width barrels

Thanks. Cardboard was only for a test. Will probably soft solder the brass shim in 2 places to smaller barrel. Near lug and at forearm cap. The Latter for both stability and looks. Will post pics when done. FWIW I am not a craftsman like many here but more of a machinist.

    Fitting a smaller width barrels

Info needed on Pedersoli 12 ga

Mines and early one marked DGW but made by Pedersoli. Just a shade under 6#. I will go before it does as it can be used in so many different "roles". Claimed at least 100+ pheasants before they disappeared. A near gift from the late Bill Wescombe (Mr rolling block) back in the early 80's

Has Anyone Ever Bought From A Place On The Web Called Firearms World For BP.??

scammer sand those that misrepresent stuff fear Credit Cards due to the "dispute" function. Thats why they want FF PAYPAL, Venmo and all the others where disputes are near impossible. Right now even legit vendors fear CC Disputes as they havn't got the staff to follow procedures in the 60...

Has Anyone Ever Bought From A Place On The Web Called Firearms World For BP.??

I fear some others are doing this as well. I suspect some big vendors have or may follow like amazon, ebay, and big box stores. This also speaks to the "power" of the credit card companies. Makes even PP look good.

    1871 BSA

Could the lock have come from a Snider conversion hence the 1871 date? The hammer shape may be a clue.

Hunting in California the snti-lead state.o

Don't have to worry about using lead shot while Pheasant hunting in CA's central valley anymore. There are NONE. The pesticides killed them off, not lead. As for Californians its open season for traffic tickets in other states. Plate readers pay for themselves. BTW Enforcement by most...

Spent last 30 years sampling and testing air, water, ground and even my own blood. Had near unlimited access to advanced instrumentation where PPB is a big number. Scared me badly. The earth is a closed environment. whatever is created within it stays. Whats reported is heavily filtered...
