    Yeah, I started work in '64 , @ $1.25 I believe. What got me thinking was all the ads in the NRA magazine and others were firearms could be shipped to you directly stopped after the Kennedy assassination.

    Read a story re father and son removing a stubborn breach, the pop had the barrel in a vise in his barn heating it with a torch, when the (unknown to them) charged barrel when off and the slug blowing a hole through the side of the barn.

    Mo money, I'm using it now, but do run a fresh lube patch down monthly(?) on all rifles. Being retired I have the time. Fyi, It did well on the corrosion tests. And prior to range time I clean with high percentage alcohol.

    I've had goodluck with Midsouth, and Midwayusa. Graffs always seemed high, but may have lowered their prices in the last few years.

    I may have been a little harsh. But I was already fired up. I called diff stores for a total of six calls and only got one person to speak with. When I asked the clerk in the store why nobody answered the phone, he said we don't hire for that position.
