    How long do I leave the baking soda and water mixture on my barrel to stop the rust browning process ? And what is the next step ? This is a new smoothbore and the builder didn't do a very good job of stopping the rust on the bottom of the barrel. Thanks

    Just received my first tin of mink oil from TOTW and was wondering what is the best way to apply it to patch material? Do you melt some and dip the material and let dry or just rub it into the material as is ?

    Thanks. It's a small area on the flat just forward of the touch hole and it's driving me crazy.

    I have a barrel that has been rust browned and there is a small place that the process was not stopped.How can I stop the rusting process? What do I use to neutralize it?
