    Found nipple wrench from Traditions that works. It is slim enough to go over nipple and not hit breech. The wrench has a t handle with a silver headed pick that screws into top of wrench.

    So you have plenty of room to reach over housing mounts to cock hammer? That was my concern that hammer would hit housing mount or be a difficult step to cock hammer. Thanks for your reply. Tom

    I purchased a LEFT Hand GPS and I want to set up for hunting. i have Eye sight issues so must use a peep to see front sight. What type peep and front sight would you use?

    They also had 54 caliber left hand percussion Great Plains Hunter barrels in stock one in 32 twist barrel so I ordered that. Now need to find peep sight and should be fixed for my hunting days

    Thanks for the welcome. since I am north of 65 I have to use a peep sight to shoot. Is there a old style peep for the GPR. I have the T/C peep sight on the renagade which works great and does not look so modern
