The kit is in the white, so I'll probably rust blue the steel or brown it.

Anyone use vinegar and salt to age brass before.

I think a patina/antique finish will look good, or polish it up like new and let time and use do that.

This one is just brass but it's a unopened kit from the 80s I believe so will be a fun small project. Is stock with 36 on them, not like you need a bigger ball or more power. Cheaper to shoot as well.

Ya even there boxes are nice lol.I've been trying to save up for a kibler but I'm failing to do so, I just picked up a 1851 colt for $100 so that doesn't help with saving.

My dad always said use dexron ii, early atf used whale oil in it, think that was type A and B they used the whale oil up to like 1970 or something then they made a synthetic oil to replace the whale oil. Dad said it's like gm's secret ingredient and not many other atf use the synthetic whale oil...

I liked the zep, used it at the service company I worked. Couldn't get anymore I think the factory burned down or something. There powder truck soap was good to.

Ok I think I know where that is, almost were 78 turns into 81. I take the drive out to Hamburg Cabelas a few times a year. Are gr at squirrels get pretty big but not like a Fox gets.

@Jim K what part of pa are you in, I wish we had fox squirrels in my area, but think there only in northen ny.

Nice, ya I've always wanted to have one done, maybe a black squirrel there kinda rare in my hunting area. I seen a nice albino last year driving, first one I've seen. Hope you stay busy, but not to much so you can hunt to.
