    There maybe another reason there is no proof marks. If it's an assembled gun it has to have proofs. Kits do not. That's how it used to be. Whether it still is or when it may have changed, I don't know. It kind of depends on how old the kit was.

    I have two of the 32s, one flint and one cap, and they're staying right here. Both were caps when I got them, converted one with an L&R. Love em both. I see the 50cal for sale was made in Japan, that is by Miroku, as are mine, good stuff.
