    Wasps Nest?

Have done that with card wads to make spreader loads in full choked guns.

    Gardening Round2 Deer problem

A 4' silt type fence will keep them out, deer won't jump over something if they can't see what's on the other side.

    Hornady 3/0 buckshot is .350

    Accuracy standard

I vote for the standard 8" paper plate also, whether it's ten yards or two hundred that's your max range. I'm not sure I could see a deer at 200 in a wide open field these days.

Do's and Don'ts when buying first BP shotgun

Sounds like you already know what you want, 10g double. I would recommend one choked barrel and one cylinder bore, I think that combo is more versatile. You can load it down lite with 3/4 or 7/8 Oz loads for upland or 1 1/2 or heavier for turkey and water fowl. Mine throws a mean load of bucks...

Pedersoli recommends TSS without shot cup?

I haven't used any but I've read that those DP crome lined barrels will hold up to it.

The “Claws are out” Powder Horn

I like the fact that you can pick up and handle the items and see if your muse speaks to you ;^)

    PRB or Bullet?

Does anyone know if you can purchase bullets similar to the PA 50 in .45 or know where to get a mold? Maybe a big bore airgun site.

The “Claws are out” Powder Horn

I wonderd if I was the only one doing " pet rescues" saving some of those horns, hooves, bones and antler tips from a short ugly life as a chew toy.

Thanks for explaining that to me, I mis read it somehow. Good information.

    Smooth bore recoil?

Ok I've thought about this a bit, (I know, that's dangerous.) and my high school science teacher said, "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction." If we can all agree to that lets consider two identical guns, one rifled, one smooth bore say a.58 TC Renegade with the same length/weight...

    Traditions Patented Breech Help

Feel like I may have mentioned it before but an appropriately sized mop works well and will never get stuck.

    Smooth bore recoil?

One thing to keep in mind, if you're comparing rifles to shotguns is that you usually drive those rifle balls and bullets a lot harder than a load of shot, but the shot loads are usually much heavier.

Are you making wads or shot cups with that rosin paper? If shot cups, a few pics or a demo would be ice.

    PRB or Bullet?

I shot a lot of those 385s over 110g of RS. Those loads are very effective but hard on wood stocks and the loose nut on the back of the stock.
