    would it be safe to fire the pistol when you dont remove the barrel for loading?

    I Was able to get most of the surface rust off the pistol. However, i have been unable to remove the barrel or the nipple. i have tried rust remover and force but i am not able to. Would you have some recommendations for me how to remove this? I have added the pictures of my Boxlock pistol.
