WANTED Fowler parts set/ kit / project gun

Flintlock or percussion? I have an original 10ga percussion shotgun (single barrel) that has a busted up stock. All parts are there for a restocking project. Pretty sure it's British, not Belgian. Send me a PM if interested.

SOLD CVA 50 Cal Left Handed Gamester Hawken Muzzleloader was $325 then $275 now reduced to $265

Is the lock reliable? A friend has a similar rifle in right hand and the mainspring seemed pretty weak. Do the caps fire with each hammer strike?

    Vintage ‘Turner Kirkland’ 40-cal flintlock

Nice work refinishing the rifle. Hopefully it is the cause of another flintlock addiction.

Sarson & Roberts 1861 Contract ID

I wonder why there are no cartouches present on the stock flat opposite the lock, as the stock does not appear to have been sanded. Nor do I see any proof marks on the barrel flat at the breech. Also, there is no US stamp on the heel of the butt plate. From what I read in the provided link...

    Flintlock Pistol identity.

Awesome! Very satisfying to research, clean/restore and shoot original black powder arms.

Swedish 65-cal Combination Boarding Axe & Musket

Aw, why not! "Practical as a shooter" didn't factor into some of your other acquisitions (handgonne, 18th cent grenade launcher).

    WANTED 526 round ball mold...

Hi Russ, my memory is not as good as it used to be. The Tanner mould I ordered was .525 for my Hall rifle, not .526. In any case I measured a few round balls and they were spot on at .525. So, if you go with a Tanner I suggest you order the size you need without worry of pure lead shrinkage...

    WANTED 526 round ball mold...

I got my .526 mold from Jeff Tanner in the UK a few years back. I just read that he passed away in 2018 but his son is carrying on the business. www.ballmoulds.com It's a well-machined brass mold.

Looking for any info on muzzeloader

Adding onto hawkeye2's comments, let us know the barrel length and the bore condition. If the barrel hasn't been cut and the bore is still rifled (not bored smooth) the value will be higher; in such case around $800 or so in my opinion. As he noted, the musket could be restored to its original...

SOLD Jukar percussion rifle .45 cal Spain

Offering for sale a Spanish Jukar percussion rifle in .45 cal. The barrel is 32 3/4" as measured from the breech plug face. The bore is very good and shiny, with strong lands and no visible pitting. It has a two-piece beech stock and the overall look is very similar to early CVA rifles. The...

WANTED Seeking Affordable 1819 Hall Rifle

I shoot my original Hall rifle (percussion) and it's a totally cool experience. Search YouTube for "shooting a Hall rifle" and you will see mine in action.

WANTED Seeking Affordable 1819 Hall Rifle

1800 for a percussion Hall seems in the ballpark. I'm guessing an original flintlock would be in the high 2000s or more.
