    This is a DGW Mountain Lock that someone has messed with. The plate is shortened about 1/2 inch, mainspring is slightly loose when hammer is down but does not come out.     Back to the top, I'm interested in the maker C. R. Stevens. That aside I fire 15 rounds this morning and the percussion to flint torch hole work better than I expected. Just a little blow by as seen on the card stock that I placed in the middle of the main spring. thanks steg49
