    M/G Siler lock questions...

    EC121 that is helpful, thanks. It doesn't say Siler on it, when I bought the rifle, the builder told me it was a large Siler lock. When I saw the M/G on the inside it confused me. Your explanation about Jim Chambers buying out Bud Siler answers my question. Thank you!

    Isn't a full stock percussion rifle fairly rare? What school would this rifle be from, with that crescent buttplate and square cheekpiece? Why are there two names on the barrel, Lutz and Leppert? Did the gunsmith buy a barrel and then make a rifle? Your thoughts are welcome, thank you!! SHOOEY!
