    SOLD Tomahawk

And by the way there were period polled hawks that had a pipe configuration that did not smoke.

    SOLD Tomahawk

I have customized many of these and I know the many hours of work you have done. You have done a terrific job and it is well worth the price you are asking. Hopefully a buyer will come along that appreciates your skill and the work you have done.

A few of my pipe hawks from I made in the last few years .

Mr Quapp, I see some of your creations on another website. Your craftsmanship is amazing. Wish I had just a little bit of your talent. Amazing, simply amazing!

    The Hawken Shop rifle kit

This looks to be about the same amount of work as the TOTW kits and it is not recommended as a first build kit. I would agree with this as I did a TOTW Kit Carson Hawken kit last year. Although it was not the first kit I ever did it was the first high end kit for me. I admit at times it was a...

    Let’s see them hunting knives

Some I have made over the years.

My latest tomahawk for a friend.

Sorry for the late reply but was out of town a few days. I used to do these and sell them but I haven't done one to sell in several years. I don't really want to get back into doing that as I prefer to do them at my leisure when the mood strikes. The ones I do now are usually for my personal...

My latest tomahawk for a friend.

Brokennock, my sheath's just cover the hawk bit. I also make a simple circular sleeve with a belt loop to slide the hawk haft through so it carries on the belt.

My latest tomahawk for a friend.

Brokennock, Your almost right. It isn't Cold Steel's "Rifleman's Hawk". It is their "Pipe Hawk". The bowl is solid and it is actually a hammer pole hawk. The shape of the hammer pole is like a pipe bowl but is solid. I do not modify these for throwing. There are better hawks designed for...

My latest tomahawk for a friend.

Doubleduce 1, Here is one I did awhile back. It is a different file pattern than the one above however.

My latest tomahawk for a friend.

Brokennock, yes. I have done many of them over the years. French Colonial, no it isn't Ebony. It is scorched Hickory. I did it with a propane torch. Doubleduce 1, no I can't. I already shipped it to my friend.

My latest tomahawk for a friend.

A friend wanted a tomahawk to carry on his belt so this is my latest creation. Hope he likes it.

    Allen Hawken rifle.

I have had an Allen for a number of years. It is an excellent shooter. I shoot I believe .530 round balls and a .010 lubed patch over 70gr. of Goex ffg. I have in the past shot clover leafed groups at 50 yards and 1 1/2" groups at 100 yds. I probably can't do it today because of aging eyesight...

I'm Too Fat on Bowie Knives

andy52, I am not trying to dispute your thoughts about that being the style used by Jim Bowie, but it is actually a Searles style that was originally fashioned by Daniel Searles of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and commissioned by Rezin Bowie, brother of James Bowie.
