[color:black]I'm a 27-year retired firefighter/EMT and currently news editor and a columnist at a daily newspaper. Have worked as a journalist (I’m third generation) in Oklahoma for 58 years, starting at age 15 in our family's weekly newspaper. I attended the University of Oklahoma school of journalism, I am a widower with three grown sons and recently got remarried in 2021. I was an active Civil War living history re-enactor for more than 30 years. I have been shooting since I was 12 years old and black powder off and on for more than 40 years, and shoot BP on a regular basis with a Lyman .50 Great Plains Rifle to along with my old T/C Renegade .50-cal. and a Pattern 1853 .58-cal. Euroarms 3-band British Enfield. Also like to shoot Walther 9mm pistols ... but not nearly as well as I like to shoot BP out of a muzzleloader.
