[color:black]I'm a 27-year retired firefighter/EMT and currently news editor and a columnist at a daily newspaper. Have worked as a journalist in Oklahoma for 55 years, starting at age 15 in our family's weekly newspaper. I attended the University of Oklahoma school of journalism, I am now a widower and have three grown sons. I was an active Civil War living history re-enactor for more than 30 years. I have been shooting since I was 12 years old and black powder off and on for more than 40 years, but have just recently gotten back to shooting BP on a regular basis with a T/C Renegade .50-cal. and an 1853 Pattern .58-cal. Euroarms 3-band British Enfield. Also like to shoot Walther and Glock 9mm pistols ... but not nearly as well as I like to shoot BP out of a muzzleloader. And ... I added a .50 Lyman Great Plains Rifle this year so once again, the world is spinning in greased grooves!
