2024 cap update, bad and the bad

Like Many of you, I'm old enough to have been through this manure TWICE before. Learned 2 rules: Keep more than plenty of all Possibles on hand. And I don't own a gun that I don't reload for.( I reload for more than 60 cals.} I don't reload for Rimfire. When people start in about the cost of...

Would you put money into it or leave it alone?

Clean it up & try to get a little Epoxy in the crack ,,wrap tight with electrical tape...flip the tape over ,sticky side up for the first 2 rounds,,,this will give you a sqeeze without any adhesive on the wood..leave it be for 2 days then clean excess epoxy , you'll probably have to clean up...

How fast can BP revolvers be reloaded?

Toally agree long guns ruled the day, 44 Henry held 17 rds. A 45-70 mod 76 will only hold about 5 .. for 17 rds of 45-70 would need a mag about 5 1/2 feet long without room for the spring. Best stick to the 73 or Henry they'er pistol cals......Be Safe>>>>>>>>>Wally

    My Kibler SMR Build Log

Leave it ALONE...YOU are the only one that has to like it,, You'll be able to easily pick it out of a full rack at a SHOOT. I finished a 45 kentucky once with a browned barrel and unstained Beech stock. It looked like a SWEDISH VIRGIN that just stepped off the boat...LOTS of Positive...

    Removing breech plug...barrel keeps spinning.

In the picture , it appears as though you have a Round tapered barrel. The vise jaws are not encountering the whole surface. wrap the barrel with elecrical insulation tape and pull it tight . tape should be thicker on the non-breach side to be level.then put in vice, might need a 12" cheater and...

    Sight question for older shooters

Use the smallest aperture you can see thru. That way , if you can see your front sight and target you are in line , Elavation will take practice. But if you can't see your front sight ,you're not lined up..Be Safe>>>>Wally
