    .32 conicals

Do you know your bore size ? I'm thinking those bullets are about .007 too small for most 32 caliber muzzleloaders. Even if it did fit the bore the harder lead alloy probably would have a difficult time bumping up to fill the grooves with the small powder charges .

Any ideas on how i canbuse a .50 hawken for squirrels

I tend to Agree with Eric. If you want to use the same muzzleloader for both small and medium sized game it seems it would be more efficient to use components that you are already using than add 2-3 extra components.

SOLD SOLD Thompson Center Black Mountain Magnum .50: $550 shipped

Thompson Center brought out the Black Mountain Magnum about the same time as their Omega in a effort to appeal to those wanting a more traditional style muzzleloader, unfortunately it never had the following the Omega had. They also had a 54 caliber version with a 1:38 twist which was also...

SOLD SOLD Thompson Center Black Mountain Magnum .50: $550 shipped

The 50 caliber Black Mountain Magnum has a 1:28 twist QLA barrel that was designed to accept up 150gns of Black Powder or pyrodex and was one of the first sidelocks capable of using up to 3 pyrodex pellets.

Best way to remove rust/clean a ugly barrel

Evaporust will not remove metal if that's what your asking.

    Thompson Center Renegade.

The front globe sight is FS-SHARPS-2 from Track of the Wolf . Lyman also has globe sights to fit a 3/8" dovetail which is probably what your Green Mountain has. The rear sight is a Thompson Center Vernier sight. No longer made but come up often on eBay. The particular butt plate I used also...

    Thompson Center Renegade.

Here's another Renegade I put together approximately 20 years ago. I bought an entire gun that was pretty beat up but it didn't matter for my purpose at the time. I was looking for a stock for a 40 caliber 1:16 twist Green Mountain barrel that I could use in the muzzleloader league I belonged...

    Thompson Center Renegade.

I bought this stock on eBay for my 54 WMC barrel. Turns out that it was a kit Renegade stock that the forearm was shortened so the under rib wouldn't have to be shortened, steel butt plate switched out for a rubber one and some carvings added. It was a hard deal to pass up considering the...

    Those T/C Small Bores

If you do an advance search on gun broker you will see 32 seneca with an extra 45 barrel that didn't sell only a couple of weeks ago. Starting bid was $2300.

    Those T/C Small Bores

I owned a 32 Seneca like the one pictured , Seneca was never stamped on the barrel but it was a Thompson Center with the proper length and high gloss and suspect it was a Fox Ridge job. I've owned 3 36 Cherokee barrels and they all had Cherokee stamped on them in fact I still have one.

    TC White mountain Carbine

The peep is either a Lyman 57 SML or 57 GPR . I haven't several TC's that I've installed both these on. Out of the 2 I prefer the 57GPR because it includes a wedge for shimming. A TC 7194 is also a good choice for WMC but are more difficult to find. A Williams FP Hawken can also be made to...

    TC White mountain Carbine

Chorizo, That's what I'm talking about. Fox Ridge would often offer you a barrel that TC didn't make on their production guns. Notice that the EBay one you're showing is a full octagon and it even has fiber optic sights. The Fox ridge barrel I purchased was a 1:38 twist.

    TC White mountain Carbine

Chorizo, I found the WMC you were talking about, a 54 caliber. Thanks for the update.

    TC White mountain Carbine

I will research that and hopefully it comes with a picture. I bought a barrel that was made by Fox Ridge that was said to be a WMC barrel but it was a full octagon instead of the half octagon/half round and no where on the barrel did it say White Mountain Carbine only Thompson center and Fox...
