    THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS?

Our local ML club in Tucson holds a match every 3rd Sunday. Slowly, but most assuredly, the active membership is diminishing in spite of posting invitations at all the gun stores in Tucson. Question: Is this the trend in your areas or clubs? Is there any solution?

    LINEN SOURCES

Guess what? I have a micrometer but no linen locally available so the question was Where(?). One great response. Thank you for your gracious help. Two foul balls. Why do you clutter up our forum with your worthless text? Get out.

    LINEN SOURCES

Several years ago, I just happened to place an order for "Irish" linen on one of the fabric web sites. What came through was a tough weave you could not see daylight through and measured a perfect .018" thick. When I tried to reorder it, it was no longer available. Does anyone have a source for...

    Pedersoli SxS Flintlock Shotgun.

It handles nicely and will be well priced. One design flaw that really stands out is the thickness at the breech between the locks. The locks should have been angled in rather than set straight.

    Slugging the Bore

Cerrosafe is the way to go or just melt some paraffin in a ladle and use it. Wax slugs are easy to remove and are darn accurate.

    British O/U Pistol Breech ?

No, they are fragile brass tubes. Both have been mashed up a bit. One is leaning over against the side of the bore and the other appears to have been shortened and closed up. The only thought I have is that they are flash tubes that connect the nipple area to the bores. Odd!

Regarding in-lines, I think we have to accept them to keep the sport alive. Our club permits them with patched RB and open sights.

    British O/U Pistol Breech ?

I have an original Williams & Powell (Liverpool circa 1850) O/U belt pistol. 52 caliber. Looking down the barrels, I can see two small brass tubes about the size of a 22 LR case extending out from the face of the breech. They appear to be some type of flash tube. Anyone seen anything like...

For those of you who haven't seen "Muzzle Blasts" recently, it is now a slick, 4-color job and visually a knockout.

HOW WERE O/U OR S/S PISTOLS LOADED?

Curator--When you unloaded period pistols, did you keep any records on how many grains of powder were being loaded in the various bores?

HOW WERE O/U OR S/S PISTOLS LOADED?

There were a lot of O/U & S/S flint and percussion pistols produced. I've always wondered how their owners loaded them. Was it one barrel with buck-the other with ball? Or 2 barrels with buck? Or two barrels with ball? Anyone have any historical insight into this issue?

    OLD MASKING TAPE REMOVAL?

Goof Off is available at most hardware stores. Comes in a Ronson type can.

    OLD MASKING TAPE REMOVAL?

I'm going to retract my recommendation for using citrus oil. What I finally ended up using on some really stubborn adhesive was GOOF OFF. It worked 10x as fast as citrus and did not damage the finish any more than citrus. After removing all evidence of the tape and adhesive, I applied Old...

    EPA INGREDIENTS SHEET SOURCE

John--Let's say I want to know what's in Gunzilla after reading the posts on this forum. How do I look it up? There's nothing on Gunzilla's home page. I'm curious because I think I read somewhere that the main ingredient is coconut oil.
