I found more markings and it appears that it was built in 1975 (AA) and it has "PA" Proof marks. Also BP or PB in a circle but not sure if this is the manufacture.

I am new to BP , so I am going to guess at this . The hammer has two positions that it sets at . Half way back and then full way back. Both can be released by pressure on the trigger.
I need help to identify this BP gun that I acquired .
The markings are Marble's Gladstone Mich. Black Powder only Italy. 45 Cal. and then on the side plate is Armoury 6408.

All of this is good information. I was thinking of breaking down just the barrel but shipping in same box so that it will be shorter/ less cost to ship. I just didn't know if it was legal to ship using USPS but it sounds as if it is okay.

I have acquired two BP rifles. I will be selling one of them soon. I am trying to figure out what I am allowed to do legally? Meaning can I ship a TC Hawken using USPS or UPS? If so do I have to inform USPS or UPS that it is a firearm? I am guessing that I will remove the barrel and wrap it in...
