    Untill you replace the cones, you could squeze the cap slightly to give it a slight egg shape & then install the cap onto the cone, that will keep the cap in place till it is exploded from firing.

    Traditions revolvers are Pietta, & yes they are 6X.75mm & the Ampco/Tresso cones will fit a #11 Percussion cap very nicely. Try The Possible Shop or Track of the Wolf "TOTW has them as their PIR-A cones."

    I have 2 of em. My 24 year old chambers measures out to .4500. My 1.5 year old chambers measured out to .4460 but I reamed the chambers to .4510. I always use .457 ball or now a .456 220gr. Lee conical, but mostly ball. a .454 will do the trick for you.

    Depends on the bore & chamber size of your particular revolver. The .456 220gr. Conical mold by Lee is really intended for the Ruger Old Army revolvers because their bore is .452 - .453 & the chambers usually run in the .453 - .454 size, the conical will drop from the mold at these dimentions...
