    Formula is different. They have cut it with something. Still seems to work ok. I use the new to clean and the old to lube patch. Just about out of the old.

    Try a grease lube. Tallow bees wax. Just get away from liquid lube. But do check your crown.

    30 Year Old Black Powder

    Those tins are not from 1958. I have a round Dupont can with a label showing the explosion of the battleship Maine. Era early 1900's. The can is 3/4 full every year I shoot a few shots with it . Shoots great maybe even a little more powerful than goex today . More like swiss.

    Ship post office .I shipped one long rifle 46 inch barrel. And it was considerably less than that with ins and second day priority. Although it did get stuck in Cleveland for a week or so. After inquiring about it it showed up the next day.

    WANTED WTB .32-.36 cal muzzleloader

    Haven't made it out to my shop to take them. I finished the stock with first tannic acid the aquafortis then more tannic acid with six coats of tried and true oil. Then I have been putting coats of lemon oil and bees wax.Could use couple of more coats of the bees wax if you want a shiny surface...
