    Uberti 1860 short arbor fix

I couldn’t agree more. The idea to use and take advantage of the self leveling characteristics of the pan head is nothing short of ingenious.

    SOLD Great Pistol

Pictures look weird to me. Caveat emptor.

    Pedersoli woes....

I'm not talking about adjustment screws. Take the lock out and check to see that the bridle screws, the sear screws, and sear spring screws are all tight.

    Pedersoli woes....

Have you removed the lock and checked to see if all the screws are tight? I have a Charles Moore pistol that exhibited similar characteristics and it was as simple a fix as tightening some screws. I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that that's your problem.

A Question About Selling a Handgun

This is the kind of silly nonsense that Californians have to deal with. It's not enough that we are beset upon by the tyrants who rule over us, we are also held hostage to the whims of those who think that just because their brains can conjure up some ridiculous scenario, that it will actually...

A Question About Selling a Handgun

First, California, as bad as it is, has ZERO restrictions on the buying and selling of black powder firearms. Also, demanding that a cap and ball revolver be sent to an 01 ffl is simply ridiculous. Stop trying to make it more difficult for those of us stuck in this state than it already is.

How far down do you clean?

I used to completely disassemble and clean every part of each of my revolvers every time I shot them. After a while I began to ask myself if it was even worth it to shoot the darned things. And then one time I bought an Uberti Replica of an 1861 Colt that was used but in excellent condition...

wife says I need to go to trough a FFL if I want to sell any of my stuff on line.

You don't. And you know what else you don't do? You don't let your wife dictate how you live your life.

wife says I need to go to trough a FFL if I want to sell any of my stuff on line.

Sorry, but this information is not true either. While Colts and Remingtons can indeed be retrofitted to accept modern cartridges through the use of cylinders manufactured specifically for that sort of thing, they are still exempt from regulations. Of course, it goes without saying that the gun...

    Good Buyers

Nice. An attitude like that makes us all look bad. Yes, some of us are stuck in California, and there are those who, because they are unfamiliar with California's seemingly never ending anti-gun laws, or because they feel a need to punish us because the leftists vote overwhelmingly for more...

If the stock is still available, and Mr. D. Buck Stopshere does not want it, I'm interested.
