Don't overlook Garage Sales (insert smiley face here)...

I was able to get that motor working (broken wire). It is only 1/3hp (misquoted above). It is 1725rpm so I'm going to make a dual buffer out of it (dual bench mandrel). I should be able to make a 2x72 knife grinder out of the frame (with a BIGGER MOTOR).:p So not a bad $10 spent!

    They mock me

The Bear I saw the other day was weakly... You could tell it owed other Bears Money! Had a Bandana, a couple of Tattoos, ect... Just skinny & didn't look healthy. A sad specimen to be honest.

    Home Defense Cannon

I refinished the cannon I posted above just like was specified from the owner (It kinda grows on ya after awhile). He was SUPER HAPPY with it, I WASN'T.... I have him talked into making some cool Stained Oak Wheels for it. I Sandblasted the entire Cannon, so if it needs some attention in the...

    They mock me

I've harvested 2 Bears since I've lived up here (Ozarks). Just wanted to mention how powerful a Modern .50 cal BP is... This was back when I shot 150 gr powder (I don't anymore). I was 200 yards up the the Mountain. Shot it through the neck & it did a "Kart Wheel". Exiting the opposite...

$10 @ Local Flea Market today... Supposed to be a bandsaw. I only saw a 2x72" belt "Knife Grinder" frame (Eventually). 😎 1HP motor ("supposed to work"). I just wanted the frame for $10.

    1st time browning question

The ONLY REASON such finishes are applied is to retain oil. Browning bye itself without oil is not a very good defense against rust.

    1st time browning question

I'd leave it as is, & grease it occasionally & it will be around A LONG TIME!

    1st time browning question

It will retain oil "as is" Danno, & that's the most important thing (I'd Grease it). Don't think the "Browning Police" are gonna show up @ your house (If they do, don't mention MY NAME!). As mentioned before, if you want to totally remove the finish, it takes about 45min - 1hr submerged in a...
