Born and reared in Craven County, North Carolina. Spent 35.5 years working for hatteras yachts. Built a few muzzleloader for family; a Vincent style squirrel gun for my wife and a flintlock pistol for my son. Would love to build a Bedford County rifle for myself, but old man time and a retirement salary pretty much squash that idea. Been shoting black powder since 1971. Don't care much for the BP subs; if it don't smell and smudge everything I ain't shooting it.
