Born and raised in upstate N.Y. Lived on a farm and enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting from a young age. Mechanical engineer by schooling. Most of working career spent in electrical power industry.
Moved to NM in 2007. Started shooting muzzle loader around 1959 (smoothbore around 36 cal.). I bought my first muzzle loader in early 70's to hunt deer with (T/C Renegade in 54 cal.). Hooked on black powder ever since for most hunting and target shooting even though I enjoy many types of firearms. I do gun shows and have dealt in many black powder primitive style guns. I own many but really like T/C guns. I built a 45 cal. round ball gun using a green river barrel which shoots quite well. A friend at gun show who belongs to forum suggested I join so it sounded good to me to be with other enthusiasts.
