Fiber optic front bead and rear blank for a Lyman GPR

I use a marble orange fibre front sight and a Lyman rear peep. Works wonderfully. Big help compared to open sights

    Thank you Bobby Hoyt

Fired my refreshed barrel today. Mr Hoyt took it to .452 with 1/56 twist. I haven’t got it optimized yet but I’m putting my shots in a 1 inch circle at 50 yards with a ghost ring rear sight. Right now .440 ball and .018 denim with 65 gr 3 f, 50/50 bees wax and olive oil. Im going to try a .445...

    Mr Bobby Hoyt

I had one barrel done by Mr Hoyt recently. Haven’t fired it yet but expect great things. It looks excellent. My experience was fantastic. I imagine a certain amount of time and effort was invested to remove the plugs ( nasty barrel so probably a lot of effort) plus a certain amount of reaming on...

Need Help Jäger Rifle Load nothing works😩😩

Yes, there are times where a barrel is just not workable. The law of diminishing returns takes effect after awhile. You gave it a great effort and I’m sure the colerain will cure your problems. I hope you can enjoy it to the fullest. I would love to hear how it performs. I expect it will be...

Can you spin your barrel on a fixture and check for “run out”? If it’s straight then look hard at the bore. I brought a rough one back to life with lapping it. If the outside has a slight bulge that would indicate problems also. Since you have determined it might be a problem gun and a history...

My flinter took 2 months of fairly consistent shooting to get it dialed in. I too thought I might have to rework the barrel. Previously I had dialed in several others with ease. You never know

You may be getting too worried. Start over with your basics. Does the cleaning patch go through the bore even or is it rough or a belled out spot that pulls way too easy for a short bit? Get your lugs and pins clearances and back in. Shoot off a bench to avoid personal error. Make sure you have...

I had trouble until the moment I found what the barrel wanted. It shoots excellent with 50/50 beeswax and olive oil. No consistency with many other things I tried. Relax and go for the endurance.

Glad you’re getting it sorted out. Excellent catch on the tight tennons. I think making sure you’re not flenching plus experimenting with patches and lube‘s will get you where you need to be. It took me a tremendous amount of different types of lubes before I zeroed in on beeswax mixed with...

    Two feathers health issues

That is the truth. Massive incentives from big pharmaceutical and massive persecution for those who thought for themselves. I lost all faith in the system and the CDC. Sad day to loose 100+ years of integrity and permanently damage research and practice. The total trash that they pushed out as...
