I grew up in the 50s and always had an interest in shooting and hunting. I would be glued to the TV when any programs with Davy Crockett or Daniel Boon were playing. I was fasinated with their rifles which they loaded with loose powder and ball.<br />

I began building & shooting muzzleloaders in 1970.Georgia was beginning to hold primitive weapons hunts on some of the W.M.A. In 1976 I bought a 45 cal Kentucky Kit by CVA.Killed a nice 7 point buck with it.The following year I got a fat doe with it.I really enjoyed the extra challenge.<br />

Today I hunt exclusively with flintlocks that I build myself
