I've never made a lefty, but they shouldn't be that much different ?? the problem is fitting it to your lock mortise. I have no measurements or such relating to a Lyman.. all of my side...

    Scota, I'm not even sure where the original drawing that I made is?? the lockplate measured 4.45" x 1.2 .. ( kinda chunky ) but I'll try to find it if you guys need it? this one I made is about 5.5" x 0.91" and of the Medberry style

    Hey to the Gang, came across one of those old Spanish or Belgian flint smooth bores this weekend. lock is HUGE.. 6.5" x 1.25" and dirty/rusty.
