Turnaround time is about three weeks. He did a GPR barrel for me. Matt blued. Work was good. I'm very happy with it.
I sent my New Englander barrel to him a few weeks ago. He told me the delivery time might be as much as 6 months. However, he said that once he sets up his machine to a particular type of barrel he would do all of them that he had waiting. So, I might get it back early, or it might be 6 months...
I called Bobby today and asked if he could reline my New Englander. It's a .50 cal. He said yes, but be advised he's backed up on work six months. I'll send it out in the mail next week. It will be relined in .50 cal with a conical twist. Just letting everyone know of the backlog. I'm having it...
There are two different barrel lengths in the NE. The catalog no. 21 shows the wood stocked rifle as 26" barrel and the Rynite stocked barrel as 24". However, the wood stocked rifle I have is actually 25.5" and the Rynite one is actually 24.5".
